As wedding photographers we get the pleasure of recording the wonderful visions that our couples have for their wedding days. But sometimes it’s fun to make your own vision come to life, which is why styled or inspiration shoots (i.e. pretend weddings) can be so much fun. And it’s why one glorious day in April saw Geoff and I playing with models, a make-up artist and a florist on a beautiful bushland property just outside Brisbane.

We did two separate shoots that day. This picture is from the first one – a classic garden wedding.

The dress and veil are both vintage pieces from the Paddington Antique Centre.
