Here’s this week’s quick pick of internet finds. As usual, good things come in threes…
Weddings
♥ The winter issue of Queensland Brides is out. It has country and vintage inspiration, the ultimate guide for the bridal party, and a guide to designing or choosing your engagement ring.
♥ With temperatures dropping in Brisbane, the Knot Australia’s guide to finding a Winter Wedding Gown is well-timed.
♥ If you’re looking for inspiration for something a little different for your wedding favours Polka Dot Bride might have the answer.
Art & Design
♥ Safwat Saleem’s coupled series is wonderful. Yet more art to add to my wish list.
Via [My Modern Metropolis].
♥ Artist Boey proves that anything can be a canvas with his drawings on coffee cups.
Via [CJWHO].
♥ Jenn Shifflet’s Light Drifts paintings play around with the kind of light effects you see in photography.
Via [Faith is Torment].
Random Asides
♥ Awhile ago I mentioned that we’ve signed up for the BBC iPlayer service, which has given us a whole world of British tv to discover. So this week I’ve been terrifying myself with an old series called Bedlam. For a girl who doesn’t like scary things, I’ve somehow managed to become hooked.
♥ Design Sponge has been featuring a colour of the day, this week they included Magenta, a colour that is featuring heavily in my life right now.
♥ Electric bikes go super stylish with Cykno.
Via [Illusion].
That’s it for another week’s quick picks. Have a great weekend!
