Quick Picks Week 40, 2013 – featuring handmade wedding favours, secret paintings, and travel tips.

Quick Picks

I keep forgetting that this weekend is a long weekend and trying to book things for Monday. So as I get my head around the concept, here’s this week’s quick pick of internet finds to help you wind down in preparation for three days away from work. Rather aptly this week, as usual, good things come in threes…

Weddings

Discovering Polka Dot Bride’s favourite Etsy finds just got easier thanks to the new Polka Dot Bride page on Etsy.

Art & Design

The idea of secret paintings on the fore-edges of books appeals to me enormously.

Random Asides

The Gasworks Plaza is now up and running in Newstead. They have a whole host of places to eat and shop, and they’re hosting free live music sessions on Fridays from 5:30pm and Sundays from 3:30pm.

That’s it for another week’s quick picks. Have a great weekend!
