This week’s quick pick of internet finds are all about transformation. As usual, good things come in threes…
♥ Shadowland, by dance company Pilobolus, is all about transformation. It combines dance and shadow theatre to stunning effect. We saw it last night and loved it. It’s on at QPAC in Brisbane until Sunday 15 June 2014, before moving on to Sydney, Canberra and Perth.
♥ Artist Trina Merry uses the human body as her canvas, transforming people into gardens, graffiti and vehicles in some truly beautiful pieces. I first spotted her work through her Human Motorcycle Project, but it’s her Secret Garden series that I love most.

♥ Media Designer Anjana Iyer has turned words into pictures in her wonderful Found in Translation series. The list of foreign words and phrases that don’t have clear English counterparts is great in itself, and has some gems that I’ll be trying to work into conversation in the future.

P.S. We don’t receive payment or gifts to list things in Quick Picks, we link to stuff because we like it.
